Temporary Closure: As of March 16th 2020, The Norwalk Senior Center is closed to the public due to the pandemic. Topic: Article of Faith

The Declaration of Independence or The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, was a unifier, a document that sought to bring a cohesion of thirteen separate colonies to effect a unified stance against the British Crown. But within the document, Jefferson and his co-authors provided those aspects that would lead to the Constitution, such as Consent of the Governed. And of equal significance, the document afforded the future generations the Revolutionary Right.

New “Friendly Phone Calls” Program

Friendly Phone Calls matches seniors with a volunteer for a one-on-one weekly phone conversation. You will be called by the same person each week so you will get to know each other. If you have questions regarding services and assistance that are available in your community, your caller can put you in touch with someone who can help.

If you would like to receive a weekly friendly phone call or have any questions about the program, please call Giovana at 203-299-1500 ext 102.

Bi-lingual volunteers are available.

"Llamadas telefonicas Amigables” conecta a las personas mayores con un voluntario para una conversacion telefonica semanal-personal. La llamada sera cada semana asi podran conocerse mejor. Si tiene preguntas sobre los servicios y/o asistencia que están disponibles en la comunidad, este voluntario podra ponerlo en contacto con al-guien que pueda ayudarlo.
