A Golf Tournament

Benefiting the

Norwalk Senior Center

Dear friend of Norwalk Seniors:

We are excited to announce that our third annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Norwalk Senior Center and Meals on Wheels will be held on Monday, May 15th at the Silvermine Golf Club. Start time will be 9:00 am. The day will include breakfast and lunch, a variety of contest holes and prizes, and a beautiful day on the course. at $185 per person or $690 per foursome and sponsorships are available for some of the functions.

Established in 1959, The Silvermine Golf Club is a private club dedicated to the sport of golf. Located in Norwalk, Connecticut, on the Wilton town line the club is easily accessed from both I95 and the Merritt Parkway. Its 27 holes allow ample playing access to novice and experienced players alike. For the casual golfer, the 9 hole course can be completed in a leisurely two hours or less. Our previous tournaments have garnered praise for our organization, attention to detail, meals and gifts, and for the overall experience.

We’re going to have prizes and raffles and you will certainly enjoy the day!

We have a critical community need here in Norwalk for helping our Seniors. The

Center provides a warm and friendly place (actually two: the main center on 11 Allen

road and our South Norwalk Center which serves the growing Hispanic and Latina

population) where we conduct health services, many age-appropriate activities and

games, and free transportation to those who can’t drive themselves. We are also the

Meals on Wheels provider to seniors who are unable to cook or travel to the

grocery store due to frailty, illness, injury or quarantine.

So won’t you please help us by securing a foursome of your friends, colleagues,

customers, or clients? This is a fun way to cultivate your client relationships while

also serving your community. Please click here to view and submit the online sponsorship form,

With sincere thanks,

Beatrix Lane
