The Norwalk Senior Center, acting in an abundance of caution, will be closed on Monday, March 16th and remain closed until further notice. Thank you and stay safe by staying home, washing your hands, and limiting contact with people outside of your household. We look forward to the day when we will see you again and resume our normal activities!


Meals on Wheels continues to operate as normal. Meals will be delivered to participants of the program utilizing healthy volunteers & healthy staff members. For more information, please contact Jane at or call (203) 847-3115 ext. 108

Tax Prep: The Tax Assistance Program has been suspended for the time being. Paperwork will not be accepted at the Norwalk Senior Center until further notice. In the event that the tax program does not resume at NSC for the rest of this year, please make arrangements to receive tax assistance through another program still operating at this time. We recommend visiting the Darien Public Library tax help website: CLICK HERE.

Bus Transportation to grocery stores by NSC is temporarily suspended effective April 13th. Bus service will resume once it is safe to do so. Here is a list of resources you can use instead:

Peapod: A grocery deliver service. Minimum order size: $30.00. Fees are $7 and up. They do not accept cash but nearly everything else. 1-800-5-PEAPOD

CVS: Pharmacy, delivers prescriptions & essentials. Fees: FREE on orders of $35 or more. Orders within 1-4 days. 203-750-6901
